Job description:

The ship had crack on anti-cavitation ring inside of bow thruster tunnel. It was not a dangerous issue but the classification society was concerned about crack propagation into the bow thruster tunnel material.

Story of the job:

The superintendent preferred not to be engaged by any radio active testing, best would be an ultrasonic testing. We offer UT & MT test for the cracked area in Shanghai port in Jun2011 and the service report had been approved by the class surveyor. We have our own technician who owned certificate and we can send the technician on board to do the checking anytime when ships request.
